Reduced Working Hours in the Middle East During the Month of Ramadan


Please note that the holy month of Ramadan began Sunday, June 5, 2016 at midnight and is expected to end Tuesday, July 5, 2016, (tentative subject to moon sighting). During the month of Ramadan all companies and government offices have shorter working hours. Please expect delays in getting updated information due to the very short working days.

UAE hours during the month of Ramadan:

Emigra office working hours: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Government Offices working hours: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Ramadan is a very important month for Muslim believers. During Ramadan, most Muslims fast from dawn to dusk. Ramadan lasts for thirty (30) days based on the Arabic calendar, and will be followed by the Eid al-Fitr, which will last about three (3) to ten (10) days. During Eid al-Fitr everything in Muslim countries will be closed for celebration.
