UAE – Correction: Work and Resident Visa Applicants Now Required to Have a Certificate of Good Conduct

In our previous alert of December 10, 2018, we incorrectly stated that
that all new United Arab Emirates (UAE) work visa applicants including renewals must provide a Certificate of Good Conduct (cleared criminal background check). This is not the case. Only new work visas are subject to this rule. Applicants already residing in the UAE who submit a renewal of their visas will not be required to produce a Certificate of Good Conduct.

Emigra Worldwide regrets the error.
