Slovakia – Attendance at Foreign Police Required To Finalize Immigration Process

What has changed

Effective immediately, all applicants finalizing their immigration processes with the Foreign Police must secure their own place in line and remain until their appointment time. Previously, third parties were able to secure the applicants’ place in line allowing applicants to arrive closer to their appointment times. Third parties are still able to accompany the applicant to the Foreign Police and provide assistance, however, the applicant will need to be there the entire time.

Please note, the Foreign Police will be monitoring the line to ensure applicants are present the entire time, as well as to give priority to children under the age (6) and pregnant women.
