What has changed?

As a follow-up reminder to our March 6, 2018 announcement, the Jobs Bank advertising requirement for roles in Singapore will be increased to cover more employers and jobs. For more details, see our original announcement here.

Who is affected?

Roles in Singapore where the fixed monthly salary is less than SG$15,000, and employers with fewer than twenty-five (25) employees.

What to expect

For Employment Pass (EP) applications submitted on or after July 1, 2018, the Jobs Bank posting requirement exemption where the fixed monthly salary is at least SG$12,000 will increase to SG$15,000. Another Jobs Bank exemption for Singapore firms with fewer than twenty-five (25) employees will be reduced to ten (10) employees. This also applies to EP applications submitted on or after July 1, 2018.
