What has changed
Effective May 1, 2015, the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has issued a directive that requires Foreign Nationals with valid Combined Expatriate Residence Permit and Aliens Card (CERPAC) to ensure that their dependent’s international passports are duly endorsed with the appropriate stamp.

- All foreign nationals who intend to secure a Long Term Work Permit/Residence Permit for Nigeria and their accompanying dependents.
Dependent’s international passports are usually requested for inspection at various ports of entries upon entry and exit. In order to ensure compliance with the new directive, dependent’s passports must be duly endorsed. A strict penalty is applicable for non-compliance.
