Reminder on Application Requirements
Effective August 2017, the Federal Employment Agency continuously requests Intra-Company Transfer (ICT) applications to include documents in German or translated into German.
Who is affected
All clients who have employees who will apply for an ICT card in Germany.
What to expect
For employers wishing to send employees on an ICT to Germany, certain documents are required to be translated before submission. However, degrees can still be submitted in English.
If the ICT application provided to German authorities does not meet the current guidelines, additional documents may be requested by the authorities at a later stage in the immigration process, potentially delaying the application.
