Egypt – Beginning May 15, 2015, Consular Visas Will Be Required for Business and Tourist Travelers

What has changed

Beginning May 15, 2015 all foreign visitors travelling to Egypt will be required to obtain a tourist or business visa from an Egyptian embassy or consulate before travelling to Egypt.

Previously, travelers could enter Egypt and obtain a visa on arrival for tourism and business purposes.
