What has changed
On June 2, 2017, the Folketing, the Danish parliament, passed a bill mandating that the required yearly gross salary of DKK 408.00 for Pay Limit or Fast-track scheme visas can no longer contain employer-paid benefits. All Pay Limit or Fast-track scheme applications submitted on or after July 1, 2017 to The Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration (SIRI) are subject to this new requirement. Additionally, the applicant’s salary must be paid into a Danish bank account.
Previously, the salary requirement of DKK 408.800 could include employer-paid benefits.
Who is affected?
- All clients who wish to hire expats in Denmark
What you need to do
- All clients need to remain mindful of these salary requirements, as failing to meet these requirements will mean that the applicants will not qualify for the Pay Limit or Fast-track schemes.
