What has changed
Effective September 1, 2015, Australian Visa labels will no longer be issued in the majority of cases. Previously, while many visas were issued label free, some passport holders were required to have visa evidence in their passport prior to travel.
Who is affected?
What to expect
- All individuals traveling to Australia
The use of electronic verification will negate the need for the issuance of any visa labels. Travelers will merely need to show the passport to which the visa is linked at airline check-in and immigration.
